Apple Fitness Plus Review – Should You Get the Subscription?
Published
6 months agoon

I haven’t taken my health and fitness routine seriously for a long time. I decided to stick to my New Year resolution this year and got myself an Apple Watch. To my surprise, it arrived with a three-month free trial for Apple Fitness Plus—clearly, I wasn’t expecting it!
I had heard about Apple Fitness Plus, a subscriber-only app, from my friends, but I had never used it before, mainly because I didn’t think it could help me. Boy, was I wrong!
Once my trial ended, I didn’t wait further and got the annual subscription plan immediately, which should tell you how much I loved using the app. Now, I am here to share my experience with you all.
What Apple Fitness Plus Is All About?
If some of you are not familiar with Apple Fitness Plus, it is a subscription service for accessing workout videos of various types.
Even if you have the Apple Fitness app, you cannot access the Fitness+ features, including the trainer-led videos for your workouts, unless you get the subscription, monthly or annually.
Apple Fitness Plus comes with tons of workout videos and tutorials ranging from 5 to 45 minutes, and that’s not all because you can access personalized recommendations as well.
I suggest you all get an Apple Watch first, so you can use the subscription with access to real-time metrics and better track your progress.
What did I like About Apple Fitness Plus?
Like everyone else, I tried online workout videos before, but honestly, I never felt as motivated and encouraged as I feel now after using Apple Fitness Plus.
The best part of the service is how precise and detailed it is because I haven’t found a program like this before. After using it for three months, I can already see myself getting closer to my goals, thanks to the in-session metrics that make the sessions more exciting and interactive.
Another thing I am a fan of is the integration system because it works great with the whole Apple ecosystem. In fact, you can use it with Apple Music to make your workouts less boring.
You will find a range of tutorials, including personalized recommendations, in the workout videos. You can also sort your videos by preferred trainer, equipment type, duration, muscle group, and music type.
What Could Be Improved?
I don’t think Fitness+ needs any improvement, except that Apple should launch a fitness band so people who cannot afford an Apple Watch can use it efficiently and have access to metrics as well.
As for the rest, the service is great and perfect for both beginner and advanced workouts.
Apple Fitness Plus Pricing
Subscribing to Apple Fitness Plus costs less than paying for a gym because you can get the monthly plan for just $10, while the annual subscription is $80, helping you save even more.
The best part is that you can also share your membership with your friends and family members if you like, as long as they are part of your Apple Family Account.
Final Verdict
Well in my true experience, Apple Fitness Plus is definitely worth investing in, especially if you want to level up your workout routine without relying on a gym too much. It’s a great option for Apple users and offers a range of workout videos to help you get started and achieve your body goals.
