How Bright Side of News (BSN) Makes Money

We fund our journalism through three main channels:

1. Display Advertising
   Banner ads and similar placements may appear across our pages. These are sold or served by ad partners and are separate from editorial. Ads are designed to be visually distinct from articles.
2. Affiliate Links
   Some guides and reviews include links to retailers. If you click those links and buy something, we may earn a commission. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence our product picks or verdicts. We include a short, on-page disclosure near commercial links (example below).
3. Sponsored Content / Paid Collaborations

• “Preferred Partner”: A commercial partner offering BSN a preferential affiliate rate in exchange for more prominence (e.g., highlighting a specific deal). Editors still choose products based on reader value and testing, not on commission rates.

We keep label design and placement consistent across the site so you can spot them quickly (header/above headline or at the top of the relevant section).
