If you could not get enough of that series, there are more similar shows full of suspense, action, and violence that you should also watch. Here is a list:
Peaky Blinders
The series is set in Great Britain and begins a year after the First World War in the 20th century. It revolves around Thomas Shelby who is a war hero and has returned to his hometown to find drug lords and gangs ruling it. He becomes a criminal but realizes he can make money as a legitimate business person instead of being a crime boss, something he jumps into with open arms.
He sees this chance as an opportunity to reinvent himself to succeed in business. The series helps you live through the experiences of those who lived in the 1900s after the war. It takes drama and suspense to a whole new level which should motivate you to watch it if you are yet to do so. Like Sons of Anarchy, this series walks a fine line between our main characters as good and bad.
Vikings
Since the show debuted in 2013, it has been ranked as one of the most-watched shows on TV. It is based on the story of Ragnar Lothbrok, a farmer who was determined to travel the world and see new lands. Being the leader of Kattegat, he is more into adventure and has a free-spirited mind that cannot be tamed. His determination and willpower push him to motivate everyone to look for new land.
Through that spirit, he conquers most of the lands and becomes one of the best leaders Kattegat has ever had. In the show, you will see how he conquers people, falls in love, and leads his people. Vikings are the one show that will give you everything you are interested in getting. From sexually charged scenes to vandalism, glory, and blood, this historical fiction will leave you jaw-dropped and interested in seeing what happens next.
Animal Kingdom
The series made its TV debut in 2016 and has not disappointed. There have been stories of crime families headed by men but how about a woman? It shows the life of Joshua Cody who was forced to live with his grandmother after his mother dies of an overdose. Joshua has never really interacted with his mother and was kept away from her. Moving into his grandma’s home makes him know she is the boss.
The grandmother rules the family to make sure that they earn enough from crime. This series is captivating as it shows how families make it through a life of crime. While this show is excellent, it is often touted as having a little bit of a slow start. However, move past this and the show truly opens up into a rewarding world that will have you glued to your seat for every episode.
