Google Pay Now Works with ShopeePay and TNG eWallet in Malaysia

Great news for Malaysians who love using eWallets!
Google Pay has now integrated with ShopeePay and TNG eWallet. This means you can now pay for your online shopping or food delivery through Chrome without switching between apps.
If you’re an Android user, you’ll notice that when you’re checking out on certain websites, there’s a new “Pay with Google Pay” option. Just tap that, and you can choose either ShopeePay or TNG eWallet to complete your payment. No need to open another app or scan anything.
To get started, simply set up your preferred eWallet in Google Pay and go through a one-time security check. After that, your next purchases can be done with just one tap. You can also use your fingerprint or PIN to keep everything secure.
Besides making payments, you’ll also be able to top up your eWallet directly from Google Pay. And soon, you’ll even be able to check your balance within the app too.
Google Pay now works with popular local merchants using Fiuu and iPay88 payment processors. Some names you might recognize are Nando’s, US Pizza, TK Bakery, Alpro Pharmacy, and Yoyo Bus.
One thing to note though: this update only supports online transactions through Chrome and doesn’t apply to in-store tap-to-pay with Google Wallet. But still, for online shoppers and regular users of ShopeePay or TNG, this is a great upgrade that makes things faster and easier.
So if you’re always on your phone shopping or ordering food, this is definitely something to take advantage of. Just update your Google Pay and you’re all set!
