Is Apple TV Worth It or Just Hype? Know The Truth Before Subscribing

Choosing a video streaming service is not easy because there are so many, and most of them claim to offer the best, which we know is not true. I switched to Apple TV+ recently, but like any other subscriber, I had this question: is Apple TV worth it, or is it the hype people fall for?

I decided to give it a shot, which perhaps was the best choice I made because I can’t see myself returning. It is much more versatile than the services I used before and doesn’t require you to have other Apple products if that’s what you are concerned about.

Many of you, like me, are wondering if you should switch and get Apple TV+ because it has a vast content library that other streaming services could never offer. Here’s my review and personal opinion if it helps.

What do I like?

Apple TV+ is different because it focuses more on original programming than other streaming platforms. From what I know, Apple releases an original series every month, which means you always have something new to watch and never run out of programs.

Another thing I noticed is the diverse genre, which I believe no other streaming service can match, and this is why Apple TV+ is on the top. Documentaries, reality TV shows, movies, and kid’s content are among the vast content variety users love this streaming service for.

Even the Apple TV+ remote is simple and easy to use, with minimum controls like a back button, volume controls, and a direction pad that are not confusing to understand.

What Needs Improvement?

After using Apple TV+ for a couple of weeks, I can’t point out any major flaws, except the content library can be larger. They add new TV shows and movies every month, but I feel they can do better, given how competitive the market is.

Another issue is the delay between the Apple TV+ series, which many users dislike. If these issues are resolved, Apple TV+ will be unbeatable and dominate the streaming industry better than every other service.

Apple TV+ Pricing

Apple TV costs $9.99 per month, which I agree is not the cheapest, but users choose it because of the perks and benefits. For instance, you get a free Apple TV+ subscription for three months if you buy an Apple product like an iPhone or MacBook.

Apple TV+ is also included in the Apple One subscription, which bundles Apple Arcade, Apple Music, and a few other services into a single package. But that’s not even the best part because Apple TV+ lets you have five family members share your account, which other services don’t.

If you ask me, Apple TV+ is the best in terms of price because no other service can match it.

Apple TV+ is great and is worth investing in if you want to watch original series of varying genres and enjoy perks no other services offer. The high subscription cost is justified because Apple ensures you have the best experience.
