BSN StaffDamage Media Group (DMG) has officially broken into the travel niche with its latest launch, Summer Headlines. This travel and tourism website covers a wide range of destinations in Europe, focusing on the culture, gastronomy, and historically significant landmarks of various cities and countries with informative guides, itineraries, travel suggestions, and more.
Site Specifications
The website will be powered by the latest version of WordPress and will feature a modified Soledad Magazine theme. The former gives the site optimal readability and Google-friendly coding, and the latter provides it with the sleek, modern feel of an online magazine with high functionality on all devices. Its migration to A2 hosting also guarantees high speeds even when it experiences high volumes of traffic.
Travel Expectations for 2022 and Beyond
The COVID-19 pandemic was a major problem for the tourism industry, bringing worldwide travel to a near-complete halt in 2020. In 2022, however, the sector is seeing an increase in movement again, with restrictions being loosened all across Europe. By summer 2022, most countries will allow travelers who are fully vaccinated to enter without need of quarantine or other measures. Masks will still be required on some airlines, but other improvements have been made, such as front-desk automation in hotels to reduce person-to-person contact, creating a safer travel experience for everyone. As a result, 2022 has seen a massive increase in vacation bookings, with the focus being on international cities and educational experiences.
Site Content
SummerHeadlines.com will profile ten different countries within Europe, with one main article for each country supplemented by several smaller articles that focus on each city. Each of its city and country guides provide insight into entry requirements and the best times and places to go. The guide to Italy, for example, gives an overview of the country’s highlights, including its cuisine and its most popular sites like Rome’s Trevi Fountain and the ancient city of Pompeii, before going on to focus on five distinct local areas like Venice and Naples with detailed city guides.
SummerHeadlines.com is currently still under construction, with six countries covered thus far. The full launch of the project is set for summer 2023. For the latest news, you can follow DMG on their Facebook page.
