Headway App Review

Our busy schedules often leave us with no time to read, but if you are a determined person like me, you will surely find a solution, and in this case, it is Headway.

I tried a few book summary apps before I came across Headway on a Facebook post, and I am glad I did!

According to me, Headway is a great app for entrepreneurs, students, and everyone else who is into non-fiction books because the app offers 15-minute reads in text or audio.

It’s been almost a month since I have been using Headway, and I don’t feel like switching anymore like I did before. I am here to share my Headway app review so you can decide if it’s the right choice for you.

What Is Headway App About?

Though Headway is a popular app, I am sure some of you have yet to learn about it, so let me do the honours!

Using Headway, you can read summaries of non-fiction books, including the best-selling ones in text or audio format, whichever is convenient for you. The summaries are 15 minutes long and perfect for people like you and me who have less time to read but can’t live without books either.

You will find a range of topics, including productivity, self-growth, money and investments, happiness, etc., on the app, which you can either read or listen to.

Besides, the app has a few exciting features like streaks, trophies, and personalised reading challenges to keep you from losing interest.

What I Like About the App?

The first time I logged into the app, I was surprised to see the collection because there are over 2,000 book summaries, with new ones getting added every month.

If you ask me, my favourite feature is the audio and text option because it lets me choose what I want. Listening to the audio helps me focus better because the voice is soothing and done by professional female and male voice actors.

Unlike some other apps, Headway likes to keep the users engaged and hooked, using special features like personalized challenges, interactive flashcards, streaks, spaced repetitions, and much more. I can guarantee, you won’t find all these features in other apps, and that makes Headway stand out.

What I Didn’t Like About the App?

To be fair, there are a few things Headway needs to fix to be the best. One of the first things I would like to point out are the overly concise summaries, which I believe can be improved. I understand, the purpose of the app is to provide summaries, but they sometimes miss out on important insights which some readers may find annoying.

Despite being a popular app, Headway doesn’t offer offline access, which is a little inconvenient on the readers end because let’s be real, we don’t have a stable connection all the time.

Final Verdict – Is Headway App Worth It?

After using Headway, I can tell it’s a great app for reading summaries, but it could be better if they fix the issues, I pointed out earlier. Leaving that aside, everything else about the site is fine and I suggest everyone to try it once.
