It was created by Leila Gerstein and stars Rachel Bilson, who plays a New Yorker who accepts an offer to work as a general practitioner after she failed to become a heart surgeon. The series was aired for four seasons between September 2011 to March 2015. The series was produced by Jeremy Adelman in the original English language.

Virgin River

This (Netflix 2019) series is a romance drama aired on web television series. It centres around nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe who moves to a remote area of California. Immediately after she settles in the rural area, she quickly discovers that it is not quite as simple as it looks.

Once Melinda Monroe settles in this rural area of California, she discovers that it is not quite as she expected it to be. With no other options, she learns to adapt to her new surroundings and heal herself before she finally accepts Virgin River as her new home. In doing so, she meets with Hope McCrea, the town mayor who grants her a job and offers her a basic lodge.

The Resident

The Resident (Fox, 2017) is a smart medical drama television series from Fox. It is composed by Jon Ehrlich in Atlanta, Georgia, in the USA. This series is a great follow-up for lovers of Hart of Dixie. It is created by Holden Jones, Roshan Sethi and Hayley Schore. The episodes took place in Chastain Park Memorial Hospital, focusing on the lives, duties and responsibilities of staff members. It entirely focuses on bureaucratic practices of the larger hospital industry.

The Resident is based on the book Uncountable by Marty Makary. After its inception in 2017, Fox ordered the renewal of all episodes and the second season began on May 14, 2018. During the United States television season in the year 2017-2018, it was ranked number 41 nationally, with the average number of viewers amounting to 7.02 million. Internationally, the series is shown in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland.


This is an American show aired on ABC in September 2019. The series is based on the Stumptown comic book, written by Greg Rucka, Justin Greenwood and Mathew Southworth. The series was created and produced by Jason Richman. The title of the series was adopted as a nickname of the Portland city where the series was set.

Stumptown series transitioned and quickly become more popular when it was announced that ABC had given the production a pilot order in January 2019. Jason Richman wrote the pilot alongside other executive producers Riben Fleisher, Greg Rucka, David Bernad, Matthew Southworth and Justin Greenwood. Powerful production companies including The District and ABC Studios were involved in the pilot. The production was given a series of orders on May 2019. The series received a full-season order in October 2019.
