Google’s advanced AI lab has been growing. The latest Google Veo artificial intelligence video seems to have an impressive understanding of physics. I have never seen a video tool come this far, but Google has made it possible. 

Google announced its AI video model-Veo 2 for the first time earlier this year. Veo is direct competitor to OpenAI’s Sora. Experts claim it will become the best AI video generator in years to come. The Veo 2 model by Google has certainly taken things to a new level entirely. 

The visual realism improved by Google in the Veo 2 makes it worth exploring for me. The AI video will certainly live up to my expectations of depicting movement accurately. An example video of Veo 2 showed someone slicing tomatoes into pieces with precision. No other AI video model has come this close to accuracy before, not even OpenAI’s Sora. 

Best Veo AI Videos to Date: My Findings

Google’s new Veo AI video model is in the waitlist phase only. You can sign up beforehand to get access to the Google Veo 2 when it becomes available. I have already signed up for this AI video model because it will help me create up to one-minute 4K clips in no time. 

The Veo 2 videos shared by Google makes it a thrilling option for me. I have not tried the Veo 2 myself but I have not missed out on a single Veo 2 video shared by Google. The best one I saw till date was the one showing a beekeeper surrounded by bees. Pika 2.0 does not come close to the potential of Google Veo 2.  

Google Veo 2 can certainly handle complex interplay between the beekeeper and individual bees. When the beekeepers hold the jar of honey the bees move quite naturally. The bees look real. At no moment, I felt the AI video model was struggling to keep up. Its capabilities are not limited to bees. 

A few years back, OpenAI’s Sora used flamingos in the DALL-E 3 image model. Google’s Veo 2 AI video model showed more than a Flamingo. It showed how lighting and weight of the dog impacted the water movement in a pool.

Google Veo 2 also captivated my interest because it can maintain clarity as well as motion even in complex videos. The video model even depicts emotions a lot better compared to many AI video models out there.
